Yes. On my first go. What a terrible, terrible, repetitive, glitchy, unoriginal (even at the time) and generally awful sideways scrolling beat-em-up. Yet, I played it to completion anyway. And why? I know this was highly lauded on release, but I’ll be honest – I’ve never been a massive fan of the game. Or the Shinobi/Shadow Dancer series, actually.
